Our Straw-Clay House

We have already started some walls and improved the technique so it'll be easier to learn

We are thinking about it 7 years now.We are organizing it the last 3 and finally got the time to start building our home.

We decided to build it with our own hands and with techniques we learnt in the path we chose towards sustainable living.The technique we chose is Straw-Clay only because we believe it is more suitable for our climate

We have good quality soil for building with straw

We are looking for some help though because we need to finish the first part before the autumn rains so we close it for winter.

We need 4 volunteers from Mid-June and for 15 days at least so we finish the walls and then start with plastering.
